ABPM (24hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring) is applied if hypertensive disorders are suspected.
Using this procedure the occasional and daytime blood pressure spikes can be safely found which can not be detected by a general measuring.

The cuff attached to the patient’s arm is connected to a small device, that measures blood pressure at preset time intervals, the measured data is stored by the monitor.
The stored data will be evaluated by our cardiologist specialist, who recommends further necessary examinations or medication, depending on the result.
